The Elt's have been great so far. Honestly the best sound I've heard yet. I've owned DCM cx-07's, Boston Cr8's, JBL L100's & 80T, etc. I think the Sansui has something to do with that but the sound quality is just astounding with great separation. They're also not at all bright. I can listen for hours and not get tired though it took some getting use to. They sounded kind of dull at first. I guess because they're more neutral than other speakers I've owned. I also have a seat back near the wall and they sound equally as good. I plan to upgrade to better mains in my HT very soon and will certainly be looking at speakers with similar sound qualities.

By the way, I like the Forum! I hope more people will join.

Like those HPM-100's. What are you using as stands?

They're concrete plant pots I bought at a concrete yard art store. I had them stained black and sealed for extra. They weigh 36 pounds a piece and there's an old pillow stuffed in the hollow space of each to prevent any transfer of noise. I wish they were another 6-8 inches higher because we're tall and the tweeter are still way below ear level but they sound better than on the floor that's for sure. And they're less likely to be damaged from an accidental kick or something.
