    Well i got banned from the forums at av123...


    shrug...

    i just want my mfw fixed...

    but mark is just being an asshole and sitting behind his 'av123 sales' mod account..

    no warning either..

    but whatever... he deserves jail time based on his actions thus far so f' him.. i hope he enjoys the man hugs he gets in there...


    sorry for sounding so pissed off... but this is just a mini rant of mine..

    its done now though..

    Banned, eh? Sorry to hear it - I hope they at least get your sub fixed.

    On the other hand, welcome to the club. As someone remarked to me a few weeks back, there's a sort of badge of honor to be had in getting banned from AV123 for suggesting that they own up to their mistakes.

    Yeah, i kinda turned up the heat today...

    I can take broken products as long as they get fixed in a timely manner (which my mfw wasn't).. but what i wont take is trusting in a company that is run by someone pulling those kinds of sadistic stunts.. and then trying to cover up all public discussion about them

    i don't have problem dealing with egotistical or even potentially sadistic company owners.. but i have a personal line and mark and thus av123 crossed that...

    i hate to bash the guy because i am not.. this isn't a personal attack against him.. but you cant really say many good things when he has been arrested and indicted on charges as serious as that... and whats worse is sadness of those charges.. it's one thing to rob or defraud a bank.. its another when you do it to charities and individuals... and it's not like this is small potatoes. but HUGE!! 707 people and $180,000+ based on the current charges... thats kinda messed up if you ask me... and this should be a publicly discussed item because now things are being unveiled and the fabric of lies is coming apart...

But when you find out the caring people you trusted and invited in your home was being dishonest, it hurts and it's embarrassing...but Derek your intentions were only for the good.     sorry for the angry-ish outburst... just been for friggin ever this thing has been messed up.. annnd bonus, the driver that was busted looks repairable.. Very Happy can someone say twoooo 15" drivers in a new enclosure when i get my motorcity turbo upgrade! Razz

    Honestly, the drivers are pretty cheap, I'd just buy one better driver. The MFW-15 is a well engineered product, not one that uses the fanciest/best materials/technology.

    Cujobob, you told me yourself that driver quality isn't as big an issue as people make of it. When I was repairing my DIY MFW-15, I was disappointed at what I seen when I cracked that sucker open. But as you stated, the system rocks. I might just upgrade mine with the Motor City upgrade and use the 2 15" drivers in sealed cabinets for a sweet multi sub setup. Yeah, I have a spare driver for my MFW-15 as well.

    Then again, I may just leave the sub stock, it does fine as is. Add two Dayton powered subs and call it good.
