Why did the old AMC film channel change?

Back in the old days before late 2002, the AMC film channel use to be a classic channel. They use to play very old programs which I admired so well. They had shows such as Hollywood Lives and Legends, The Lot and Cinema Secrets. Now, Cinema Secrets is the show I loved the most because of its behind the scenes look of how visual effects were put into movies. After that show on Friday Nights, Stan Winston would host a movie that was really excellent such as "Frankenstein", "The Conqueror Worm" and "Tales from the Crypt" from 1972. More so, they even had those NYUK Three Stooges shorts hosted by Leslie Nielsen (from the Naked Gun, 1988). AMC use to be a channel that I would look forward to coming home and watch. Now days since 2002, it turned bad. They now show movies with commercials. They don't show old classic Vincent Price movies anymore. Now they show movies like Catwoman and Saw. Those are films that should be shown on regular channels. AMC is supposed to be a channel similar to TCM (Turner Classic Movies). I always thought there was room for both of them on the airways. I wish they would put those show like Mad Men and Breaking Bad on another channel. We need the old AMC back badly. I miss my old monster movies and films based off the Bible. Why must it be this way? Why did they change it to a mess like this? Does anyone agree with me? Do you believe that the old AMC channel was much better? The channel logo had great music and it was the only thing that stuck to my mind all day when I was at school. I would watch this channel at night and write a paper about the movie, that I would write for my teacher the next day. They may have taken it away eight years ago, but I want to take it back! That's all I have to say about that.
