Time to part with my RS450's as I continue to convert all my gear to brands that I sell. These are almost 2yrs old and in good condition.

One of them has some light scratches on the top from my stupid cat. It may be possible to buff it out, but honestly I just never could see the scratches during normal use. I had to use the camera's flash and angle it just right to get them to photograph.

They both exhibit whatever this type of veneer damage is called. It's fairly mild, and only on one side of each speaker as far as I can tell. Visible from a foot away, but not two feet.

I have the original boxes and all the packing materials so I can ship (like 75lbs each from 43050) but local pickup is welcome. Asking $450

Dang those are stunning looking! Love the grain ... Can't buy them but good luck with the sale Smile

The veneer issue is called fissures, I had them on my Ebony 450's. Fantastic speakers, wish I wouldn't have sold them to my father-in-law Sad

Yeah I was always really pleased with the grain on this particular pair. Thanks for the tip on the fissures. I've heard about checking, fissures, cracking, etc. and wasn't sure what I had. Smile I was annoyed when they first started showing up as I'd only had the speakers for like 9 months, but I never see them unless I get really close up so it didn't end up being so bad.
