Want to trade. EOTech 552.A65 "F' Gun Sight for Pre amp

I have a EOTech 552.A65 Lightly used. AA' batteries, and Night Vision compatable. Overal good shape. Works flawlessly. Will mount to a standard rail system common on the AR-15's. Or I have a carry handle mount for it also for the Ar-15.

I saw this post this morning. I don't have a pre-amp though. I have my Pop Pulse, but it's an integrated, and its probably half of what he's asking. I don't really want to spend $300 on optics right now. Maybe in a few months.

Well, if you like it, you can get some decent pre amps cheaper. I just need enough to get a pre amp. Will probably go with Adcom. I see them for around $200.

Also, what protection level are they? Materials?

I have two kevlar vests that I'm pretty sure are level II maybe II-A. They are a standard soft LEO type vest. I know from experiance they will stop a 9mm and 10 ft. I'm pretty sure a rifle would penetrate. But I will double check tomorrow on what level they are.

I know I also have some Ceramic level III strike plates that can be loaded into a vest of your choice. I can't remember if I kept my Interceptor vest to load them in or not. I'll have to take a look.


As far as price I'll get back to ya. I'm realy only looking to get a pre amp. So not too much.

Sure, let me look for it. It might be tomorrow thugh. I'll have to get the model number. I looked in the vest today and could no see through the net mesh to see the lable to get the level. I did read that it was for defeating handguns, not rifles. I'll get the model number though.

Only the really expensive ones can take rifle rounds. I'm just looking for something level 2 that isn't heavy and won't restrict my movement. If I need more protection, I'd just get some plates and put them in a molle vest designed for armor plates.

Is the Eotech still available? Does it come with the protective metal hood?

Picked up the sight from the post office today. (I missed the delivery) Sight works well. Just need a little gun metal grey to make it pretty. Thanks for the deal. It's now on my FAL. My dad gave me his Eotech also, which is on my AR.
